FKB Sports Tournament - 3rd Edition - Entry Pass (Access for all events)
FKB Sports Tournament 2025 (3rd edition) The much-awaited annual sports event organized by France Kannada Balaga is finally here! Block your dates for this exciting & fun-filled sporting event. This year, we will have Cricket 🏏, Badminton 🏸, and Volleyball 🏐 games. The event is organized so that players can participate in one, two, or all the games as per their interests and showcase their skills, talent, and teamwork 😉 We will create separate groups for each sport. Please note: A single entry pass for the entire tournament provides access to all the games. Dates 28/06: Badminton 🏸 05/07: Cricket 🏏 12/07: Traditional / Kids games with Potluck 🧺🐥 (Registration not required)

Community celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi with traditional Pooja, modak making, devotional songs, and cultural activities for children.
Kannada Language Workshop
Interactive Kannada language learning workshop for children and adults. Sessions include reading, writing, conversational Kannada, and storytelling.
Indian Independence Day 2024
Independence Day celebration with flag hoisting ceremony, patriotic songs and dances, and a community picnic at a Paris park.
Summer Picnic & Sports Day
Annual summer outing for FKB families with outdoor sports, games for kids, potluck Karnataka cuisine, and community bonding.
Ugadi Celebration 2024
Kannada New Year celebration with Panchanga Shravan, Ugadi special dishes, cultural programs including dance, drama, and music.
Republic Day Celebration 2024
Republic Day celebration with patriotic fervor, featuring children's patriotic performances and a talk on India's constitutional values.
Sankranti Festival 2024
Harvest festival celebration with sesame-jaggery sweets exchange (Ellu-Bella), kite-themed activities, and traditional Suggi songs.
Karnataka Rajyotsava 2023
Grand Rajyotsava celebration with traditional Kannada cultural programs, classical dance, and a special quiz on Karnataka's heritage.
Navaratri & Dasara 2023
Nine nights of celebration with Golu display, Dandia Raas, traditional Mysore Dasara cultural showcase, and community pooja.
Deepavali 2023
Diwali celebration with community dinner, children's art workshop, lamp decoration contest, and a spectacular evening of music.
International Yoga Day 2023
Community yoga session at a Paris park celebrating International Yoga Day, followed by meditation and healthy snacks.

FKB Facebook Group Founded

France Kannada Balaga was officially registered as an Association Loi 1901 in Paris on 1 January 2018.
2019
First Major Celebration
Organized the first Ugadi celebration and Rajyotsava, bringing together Kannadigas from across France.
2020
Going Virtual
Adapted to the pandemic by organizing virtual cultural programs, online Kannada classes, and digital community events.
2021
Growing Community
Membership grew significantly with new families joining. Resumed in-person events while maintaining online programs.
2022
Cultural Expansion
Launched Kannada language workshops for children, organized literary events, and strengthened community bonds.
2023
Indo-French Programs
Participated in Indo-French cultural exchange events. Organized over 10 major events throughout the year.
2024
Community Flourishing
Record participation in events. Expanded activities to include wellness programs, sports day, and more diverse cultural programming.

Looking Ahead
Continuing to grow and serve the community with new initiatives, collaborations, and even grander celebrations.
